Now it is time for my thoughts: This episode was one that I had a love and hate relationship with. Some things I liked and others I hated. I hope that next week is better.
Chief Robinson: I still maintain that Chief Robinson is Gail McLeod who was after 51. I believe that Robinson was trying to bring 51 down so that she could move up in the CFD. She used Lennox to spy on 51 and report back to her. I hated the fact that she threatened Boden and 51.
Lennox: I am glad that he is gone. He was not a good fit for 51. He was a spy sent by Chief Robinson to bring down 51. I hated how he made Chief Robinson out to be some kind of God that was going to help him move up in the CFD cause he was her spy.
Boden: I loved how he stood up for 51. How he would not back down to Chief Robinson who was being a bully. I loved how he took charge and put Lennox back in the floater pool. He nicely explained why Lennox would not get a permanent home being a nark for Chief Robinson and how he was not 51 material. I loved how Boden went to DC Hill to talk to her about Chief Robinson and explain that policies sometimes need to be changed. It got her to change her mind about things with Chief Robinson.
Gibson: I think he is on his way out. He has issues that he needs help with. The storyline with him tonight was like Severide in Season 1. I am just glad Kidd found him and he asked for help.
Carver: I love how Carver tried to help Gibson. It shows he is a good friend. Tonight we finally get Carver and Violet together. I think this is going to be a ship that works out well.
Violet: Violet did the right things with Lennox. She handled him well. I love how she handled things at the Biker Bar to calm Eddie the patient down so that they could get him to Med. She is good at what she does.
Pranks: I love the pranks especially on Herrmann. We needed a laugh this episode and Tony is always good at providing a laugh.
Charlie: I am glad that Kidd, Violet, and Carver worked together to help Charlie and take the Dr Landis and his clinic down. I am glad that they figured out that Charlie was misdiagnosed before he got really hurt.
Stellaride: I loved that they were at the Loft and about to get all hot and heavy. I was not happy that they were interrupted. We deserved a hot and heavy Stellaride scene. I did like how they talked in Severide’s office and then they kissed. I also liked how they worked together going back to the dialysis center to take down Dr. Landis. I hope next week we get some hot and heavy Stellaride.
Next week: Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Chicago Fire will be ALL NEW with Season 12 Episode 9: Something About Her at 9:00pm (eastern) on NBC. I will be back next week with another blog post about the episode. As always, please leave your thoughts in the comments. I love reading them.
