Severide woke up early and looked at the time. He slipped out of bed and slipped some clothes on. Everyone was given a map of the zoo. They started and followed the map around and took lots of pictures. Then it was time for lunch. They found a place to sit down and enjoy their lunch. Severide had packed roast beef sandwiches, cheese cubes, grapes, strawberries, blackberries, orange slices, carrot sticks, cucumber rounds, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, celery, pretzels, chips, nuts, and Greek Yogurt. He also packed water. They finished up and went back to visiting the animals. They got souvenirs before heading to the bus. Severide, Annie, Cruz, and Otis got on the buses and Kidd got Bennie in the car ready to go. Soon they were heading back to school.
At the school, the kids were signed out and everyone headed home. At home, the kids went to play with Cosmo. Severide went to fix dinner. He decided to make homemade chicken nuggets and French fries with a salad and fruit salad. Severide got to work and in no time dinner was ready. He plated up dinner and Kidd rounded up the kids. Annie fed the fish and check Cosmo’s feeder before coming to eat.
Kidd helped put dinner on the table. Then they sat down to eat. They talked about the trip. They had a great time. They talked about their favorite parts of the trip and how nice the day was. After dinner, they had ice cream. Then the kids went to play and Severide and Kidd relaxed. Soon it was time for bed. Severide got the kids bathed and into bed. Cosmo went to bed with Bennie.
